Honduras started off with a positive result for their journey to the 2010 World Cup.

Honduras loss against USA on Saturday, it was definitely a hit against our aspiration of obtaining a direct ticket to the 2010 World Cup, but one final chance for achieving this goal is still on.

Tonight is the night, our most important game we’ve ever had in this qualification. One win means three points which gives us a direct ticket to our main objective, South Africa.

Saturday night at el Olimpico Honduras demonstrated great team mentality and gave Trinidad and Tobago a soccer lesson. The “Soca Warriors” never really gave our defense a lot of trouble, making us have most of the ball possession.
