Good News for Our “Legionarios” in the PL

Our “Legionarios” wont stop impressing the world with their incredible soccer skills and discipline.
Wilson Palacios – Tottenham: Johnathan Woodgate, teammate of Palacios and ex Real Madrid player declared that Palacios effort is being showed of every weekend on the field and is the reason why the team has been climbing positions on the table (currently in 8th.) Their goal is to reach Uefa Cup positions…they are just 9 points away.
Maynor Figueroa – Wigan: Wigan’s assistant manager Eric Black says that interest in left-back Maynor Figueroa is growing incredibly. A product of his astounding mentality and determination. Black said, “He came here for five or six months without getting an opportunity to play in the team and that is not easy for a player when they are a few thousand miles away from home.”
“But his mentality to do well is as good as I have seen.”
“He trains exceptionally well every day, has adjusted to the culture and is doing very well learning the language.”
A very important fact on Figueroa is that he is on target to complete all 38 league games, the only Wigan player able to achieve this attendance record and the fact that he has only been substituted on four occasions shows how important Figueroa has become to the team.
Certainly, we will be seeing this young Honduran in a “bigger” club in a year or so…hopefully this summer.
Carlo Costly - Birmingham City: Birmingham City have earned their ticket to the Premier League. Hopefully the team decides to keep Carlo Costly for next year. If thats the case, we will be seeing the Honduran striker next year with Birmingham City at the Premier League.
Congratulations players, keep believing in yourself!

unfortunately it seems Costly won’t stay with Birmingham. That’s too bad…English defenders won’t get to know the “polaca” or “costlynha” however you want to call it. I fully expect that move to be in Fifa 10.
